Clayton Windmills, Brighton
The Clayton windmills is on the outskirts of Brighton. The popular windmills are called Jack and Jill - Jack is the black tower mill; Jill, the white post mill.

Kent Oast Houses
At one time Kent had over thirty thousand acres devoted to the growing of hops. Since the sixteenth century when the hop was introduced to England, Kent and beer, it has been an important commodity and vital to the local economy.

The Seven Sisters
The Seven Sisters is the imposing chalk cliffs where the South Downs plunge abruptly to the sea. The chalk downland, river meadows, salt marshes and lagoons present a huge variety of wildlife habitats.

The Lake District
The Lake District is the central mountainous area of Cumbria in the Northwest and has some of England's most beautiful scenery. Several other names are used describe this area, for example Lakeland, and the English Lakes.

Stonehenge
Stonehenge is the great stone monuments and is the best known and probably the most remarkable of prehistoric remains in the UK. It has stood on Salisbury Plain for about 4,000.

Bath
Bath is famous for its Georgian splendour, 15th century Abbey, and the Roman baths in the city centre. The honey-hued terraces  and crescents are picturesque and pleasing to the eye.

Hadrian's Wall
The Wall was built under the orders of the Emperor Hadrian in AD 122 to mark of edge the mighty Roman Empire. Stretching from Newcastle to Carlisle right across the backbone of England.
